For Zachary Reese Clark poker is truly in his blood. Nephew of the late, great Chip Reese, Zach is already proving at the age of 24 that he is a force to be reckoned with at the table. Originally from Lafayette, CA, Zach grew up playing sports in high school and college, but after a knee injury he turned to poker and began playing limit hold´em. Zach won an online Main Event in August of 2007 for almost $400,000, and only a couple months later had another win.
In August of 2008 Zach made his TV debut when he made the final table of the WPT Legends of Poker. Splashing onto the poker scene in a big way in late, Zach "CrazyZachary" Clark. The young poker pro from the Bay Area took the 2008 WPT Legends of Poker tournament by storm and played all the way to a third-place finish, good for $281,645.
A natural gambler, Clark took advantage of some loose California gaming restrictions to run a mini-casino from his home. "When I was in high school, I ran a little casino out of my house," recalled Clark. "We had blackjack and craps. We were legitimate. We had a six-deck shoe and everything. We had the poker table in the corner, with no rake of course. But yeah, that´s pretty much how it started."
